Benefit Concert for Hope Jr. - Sunday, March 11, 2007
Please join Anne and her band for a special benefit concert for
Marillac House's Hope Jr. program for girls.
Marillac House is an organization doing vital work on
Chicago's west side, providing social services to people of all ages, helping families to break the cycle of poverty,
to become self-sufficient and self-empowered, and to create a loving and
nurturing
environment for the whole family. The "Hope Jr." program offers girls ages 7 to 17 a range of
after-school and out-of-school programs, including cultural field trips,
community service activities, art, theater projects, music and choir, as
well as tutoring and mentoring. The goal of Hope Jr. is to provide the
girls with positive experiences and guidance that will translate into positive
choices in the future.
This concert will be both a fund raising event for the
Hope Jr. program and a cultural event for the kids served by Hope Jr.,
as many of them will be attending the performance. Please come and show
your support. event details
